Salt Lake KOA
Salt Lake City, UT

After 12 days of relaxing in Chubbuck, ID we packed up and headed 164 miles south on I-15 to Salt Lake City. We're staying at a KOA campground near I-15 and I-80 which is very close to the downtown area of the city. This is a nice, large park with extra long pull through sites (available at an extra cost) and all the amenities you would expect from KOA.

Here are a few shots up and down the street.....

My brother, Chuck and his wife Sue live about 30 minutes north of here in Layton. Visiting them was our main reason for coming through Salt Lake. They came down and met us at the RV Park and finally got to see where we've been living for the past 3 years.... After touring the rig, they took us out to eat at a fantastic Mexican restaurant just down the street, The Red Iguana.

Over the next 11 days we will be touring the town, visiting with Chuck and Sue, eating some great food, and hopefully squeezing in some fly fishing.
